Current as of late October 2026, after Aki and ahead of the Kyūshū banzuke. Aki ran Sept 13–27 at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan. Yokozuna Onosato won the Emperor’s Cup at 12–3, beating Aonishiki in the final bout after losses to Kirishima and Kotozakura on days 13 and 14; Ōzeki Aonishiki and Sekiwake Fujinokawa were runners-up at 11–4. Yokozuna Hoshoryu sat out the whole basho after right-knee surgery in July, as did Wakatakakage (left thigh) and Wakanosho (right knee); Kotoshoho withdrew from day 12 with a suspected concussion and Takanosho from day 13 with ankle ligament damage. Special prizes — Kantō-shō: Fujinokawa & Churanoumi. Takayasu took the only kinboshi, over Onosato on day 4. In Jūryō, Kitanowaka won at 11–4 from a three-way tie with Kagayaki and Kayo. Mock Draft
